I am the Member for Kororoit in Melbourne’s west and Victoria’s Minister for Youth, Carers and Volunteers.
Before entering Parliament, I built my career in the union movement, including serving as State Secretary of the Rail, Tram and Bus Union (RTBU) and National President. In these roles, I was proud to stand up for workers’ rights and advocate for safer, fairer workplaces across Victoria’s public transport system.
As a Minister, I am focused on the priorities that matter most to everyday families, helping with cost-of-living pressures, strengthening community safety, supporting quality education, and ensuring young people, carers and volunteers have the support they need to thrive. I am deeply committed to building stronger, more connected communities where people feel heard, valued and supported.
Outside of Parliament, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and I have a passion for cooking, reading and walking. I believe that by working together, we can create a fairer, more inclusive community where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
Sincerely,
